Maarifa ni Ufunguo , meaning “Knowledge is the Key,” is a local non-governmental organization dedicated to transforming lives through education. Founded in 1998, we work with communities, government, and partners to address inequalities and promote sustainable development through holistic educational programs.

Girls Education And Women Empowerment.
We believe in the saying that, educating a girl/a woman is educating the whole nation. In this view, we build capacity and advocate for quality education for all while put more emphasis on girls’ education in particular and women empowerment in general.
Life Skills
We believe that a safe and supportive environment is crucial for children’s education and well-being. We advocate for child rights and work to prevent all forms of violence against children.
